“ Mavis is a wonderful local restaurant. I have tried many of the items on the menu and haven’t had a bad meal yet. My current favorite menu item is the poutine! This past visit I tried the fish and chips for the first time and the meal was absolutely amazing! The fish was fresh and the sauce was delicious. I can be very picky with my seafood (I grew up on the east coast), so when I say the seafood is good I mean it. The staff is always wonderful and very attentive. Everyone at the bar has been so friendly and the atmosphere is awesome! I can’t wait to try the new patio in the summer! Another one of my favorites is the Twinsburger! ”
“ We have eaten here several times. Each time we have come we have had zero complaints. We have been seated right away, servers have all been prompt, courteous and knowledgeable about the menu and options. We have Never had to look around for a waitress to refill drinks or get things for our meals.Each time the kitchen has turned out hot tasty meals and apps in a speedy and efficient manner. Although we have never had an issue with servers, we prefer to sit in Ann's section. She is awesome and always has the best service with a smile. One of our favorite go to places. You won't be disappointed. ”

“ Today was my first visit to Mavis Public House and it won’t be my last! Kimber took care of us and she was fantastic! I had the Strawberry Bleu Salad and I split an order of Poutine with my husband. Everything was delicious and the portions were great for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. They also have a great looking patio that I can’t wait to enjoy once the weather breaks! To wrap it up: great atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food! ”
